Alan Klain
As one of the “pioneers” of Whisper Creek Log Homes, Alan has been with us since there was only a fork lift, a Quonset and three other employees in 2004. He says “To see the Company grow to hundreds of employees, four corporate facilities and with hundreds of home deliveries each year in such a short period of time, has been very gratifying.” Alan’s formal education is in Interior Design and drafting (with Honors) with a background from his youth in the retail lumberyard environment. Familiar with all aspects of construction, Alan’s chosen career has been in sales and marketing with a strong emphasis on customer service. Alan has always had that“get it done” attitude that has served him well over the years.

Alan willingly joined the team on the condition that there would be as he says “no managers…..we are all workers”. Although Alan is the only “white” member of the team, his fellow Native team members have jokingly stated that they “let Alan be on the team only because he married an Indian” (with a family heritage of the Swampy Cree Nation).

With his relentless work ethic Alan obviously has a passion for helping Native people enjoy homes that will last for generations.

Alan’s hobbies include family activities and classic cars. He is married to a supportive wife and has six wonderful children (4 married with 4 grand children). They make Cardston, Alberta, Canada (the birthplace of Whisper Creek Log Homes) their home in the foothills of the beautiful Canadian Rockies.

Centered in Canada, Alan is ready to serve all First Nations people.
